I refer to this as “the only way to make avocado taste good”. And so far nobody has guessed the secret ingredient is avocado. I love using it in entremets, because of the creamy and rich texture, and because it freezes and defrosts well.
I’ve also posted a non vegan recipe of avocado chocolate mousse, which has Greek yogurt and honey.
- 100ml/gr almond milk
- 150gr chocolate chips
- 2 tbs powdered sugar
- 2.5 tbs cocoa powder
- 1 avocado
Makes about 1.5 cup
Heat the almond milk and chocolate chips until the chocolate has melted. Stir in the cocoa powder and powdered sugar.
Mash the avocado. Once the chocolate ganache has cooled to around room temperature, fold in the avocado.
